Howdy!!
Thanks for stopping by. I am Jo, the face behind click2restore. I started this journey five years ago as a hobby, without knowing that one day I’ll be pursuing it as a business. I have always been a creative person, but I discovered this hidden talent when I started painting and designing furniture. When I became a mother, I wanted a balance between my work and family, and my heart always leaned towards my family. I wanted to be around my boys, and then God brought a change and vision in my life through this form of art. Rest is history :-)… Now I paint out of my studio here in Mckinney, Texas. I do a lot of my own projects, besides custom work for clients across the country. I teach a business course(Painters Porch) which is open to entrepreneurs worldwide. I also teach painting workshops online and in person painting, DIY and crafts, one-on-one consultations on business and social media.
In these five years, I have explored my artistic skills and am a Brand Ambassador of a few well known companies in USA, like Fusion Mineral Paint, Mud Paint, Redesign with Prima, Surf Prep Sanding, to name a few. As a “Furniture Designer”, I have brought together painting and designing into my furnitures. After I pick up a piece, spend days in seeking inspiration from things around me. Then I choose a color, or multiple colors and visualize a design that can go with the style, era and history of that piece. And then finally execute that artistic vision on my furniture that stands out as one-of-a-kind and inspirational piece. Though I don’t recreate same pieces.
